A Focus on Wellness
Laura Howington Cooper is a passionate entrepreneur who uses her experience and talent to encourage a focus on wellness instead of simply treating disease. A native of Atlanta, GA, Laura was inspired from personal experience to ask questions and push for better solutions. With a deep understanding of the importance of relationships and the need for better solutions for physicians in integrative, functional and regenerative medicine, Laura has become a passionate advocate of bringing together the best people, practices, and solutions to promote general health and wellbeing.
A Talent for Marketing
A natural connector with a talent for marketing, advertising and promotion, Laura founded the digital printing agency, Howington/Black working with accounts such as the Ritz Carlton and Art Institute of Atlanta. As one of the first female-led printers in the market, Laura gained the respect of her clients and peers winning industry awards including Best of Category – Digital Printing and numerous other Printing Industry of Georgia Awards.
Passionate about Health
Laura left printing in 2002 to focus on her family, it was during that time that her passion for health and wellness surfaced. Working inside physician’s offices as a practice manager, Laura’s natural ability to connect to people, grow patient volume, and increase revenue made her a key resource for her physicians. It was during that time that she watched numerous marketing and advertising firms attempt to apply traditional methods of client development to alternative and regenerative medicine practices with what Laura calls, “less than stellar results.”
Relationships Are Key
hc3 is a natural integration of the intuitive talent and practical experience that made Laura successful in both practice management as well as marketing and advertising. Laura believes that relationships are the basis of everything. This philosophy is infused throughout hc3 as well as her work in the community where she facilitates an accountability group for people seeking tools to change their relationship with food and exercise. When she is not working and giving back to the community, Laura enjoys weight lifting, speed and agility training, and hanging out with her dog.
